Libertyville's Lunch in the Park starts this week

MainStreet Libertyville's Lunch in the Park begins this week and will run 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Friday through Aug. 17 at Cook Park downtown.

Grilled sandwiches, Mexican specialties, pizza, kebabs, wraps, specialty salads and shaved ice are available from vendors and local bands provide easy listening music.

Special children's entertainment will be offered, and Animal Quest will visit with exotic and unusual animals. Free covered parking is available nearby at two village parking garages.
