Gourmet popcorn shop opens in South Barrington

Officials from the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce and village of South Barrington celebrated last week's opening of a new popcorn shop.

The Popcorn Cart, in The Arboretum of South Barrington, features gourmet offerings. At least 20 popcorn flavor varieties are offered monthly.

Other specialties include handcrafted fudge made in house, freshly roasted candied nuts, flavored cotton candy and snow cones.
