Free health screenings in Schaumburg June 20

Free health screenings will be offered from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, at Schaumburg Tennis Plus, 1416 N. Payne Road, through a partnership between the Schaumburg Park District and Amita Health.

During the screenings, an Amita Health nurse will check blood pressure, perform body fat/body analysis and assess stroke risk.

"Summer can be a busy time with a lot of outdoor activity and it's also an ideal time to evaluate health and wellness," said Charissa Tischhauser, fitness supervisor for the district.

Osteoporosis screenings also are available. Appointments are recommended. Registration is available at amitahealth.org/OsteoporosisScreening.
