Barrington library parking lot work starts Monday

What Barrington Area Library officials term as major work will begin Monday in the facility's lower parking lot. To be done in two phases, the lot will undergo reconstruction and resurfacing that could last six to eight weeks. In that time, the upper lot will not be available and the lower lot's available spaces will be reduced. Officials say walking, bicycling or ride sharing should be considered. In addition, the drive-up book return will be closed to vehicle and foot traffic. A temporary walk-up return has been placed near the library's entrance.
