Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest tickets on sale

Tickets are on sale at elmhurstcraftbeerfest.com for the fourth annual Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest to be held from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, on the grounds of the Elmhurst History Museum, 120 E. Park Ave.

The fest will feature 100 specialty beers and ciders from more than 50 craft brewers from the Chicago area as well as around the country. Admission tickets purchased before Sept. 8 are $40. An early entry ticket is available (entry at noon) for $50 and a designated driver ticket is $20.

Discounted ticket prices also are available to Elmhurst Heritage Foundation members, but discounts will not be available on the day of the event.

Participants must be 21 or older.

The fest will feature musical entertainment by Scottie Long, food from Barbeque Jim's Catering and specially designed T-shirts. The Explore Elmhurst Trolley also will be making its rounds during the fest, so residents can leave their cars at home.

The festival is presented by the Elmhurst Heritage Foundation, which supports the Elmhurst History Museum and the Churchville One-Room Schoolhouse by providing funds and advocacy support for exhibits and programs.
