Half Day Brewing gets tax deal in Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire officials have approve a tax-sharing deal with the Half Day Brewing Co. to help the local business raise money for expansion. The brewpub is in the Village Green Shopping Center at Milwaukee Avenue and Olde Half Day Road. Officials agreed to rebate the company half the sales tax revenue the brewpub generates for the village. The company wants to use the money to expand brewing capacity and begin distributing kegs and cans of its products to restaurants and stores in the suburbs. The rebate is limited to $100,000 annually and will cap at $250,000.
