7-year-old girl among Darien shooting victims

A 7-year-old girl was among the three people found shot to death early Sunday morning at a home in Darien, authorities said Monday in a terse news release.

Officials from the Darien Police Department, DuPage County state's attorney's office and DuPage coroner's office identified the three gunshot victims as Bourk Esho, 33, and Olivia Esho, 7, of Darien and Olasunkanmi Esho, 42, of Chicago.

Officers responded about 1 a.m. to a report of shots fired at a home on the 7500 block of Farmingdale Drive. Police said at the time the scene was secure and there was no additional threat to the community.

Authorities said their investigation is continuing.

"Nothing further at this time," the news release said.
