Rolling Meadows summer concert series begins Friday

The first show of Rolling Meadows' summer concert series kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday in Kimball Hill Park.

FRIDAYS ROCK! & Roll in Meadows begins with a performance by Skip Towne and the Greyhounds, a Chicago-style electric and traditional Blues band. Food trucks will be on site, though attendees are also welcome to bring a picnic dinner of their own.

Other shows are scheduled for July 6 with wedding and corporate event band Soda, and the group Centerfold on Sept. 7.
