Bandits' Courtney Gano earns NPF's weekly rookie honor

With 8 hits in her first four National Pro Fastpitch games, Courtney Gano of the Chicago Bandits earned Rookie of the Week honors, league officials announced Wednesday. Gano, an infielder/catcher from the University of Washington, leads the NPF with a .615 batting average. She has 6 RBI in 13 at-bats.
