Keep schools secure

All school should be on soft lockdown during school hours. I am a member of Prince of Peace parish in Lake Villa and no one can enter our school without a key or passing through an outdoor scanner, stating name, showing ID if unknown and stating purpose of visit. How much does it cost to place a metal scanner at each entrance into a school?
