Lake Barrington farmers market returns

Lake Barrington's farmers market will open for the season Tuesday, June 5. The weekly market will run from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays in the summer outside Angel Soft Water at Northwest Highway and Pepper Road. Village officials said the market will feature an array of produce, locally sourced meat and poultry, and fresh dairy products. "This is a great opportunity for residents, families and visitors to our (community) to support our great local businesses all while promoting healthy eating habits," Lake Barrington Village President Kevin Richardson said.
