Hoffman Estates summer concerts return June 7
The Hoffman Estates Arts Commission and the Hoffman Estates Park District will present the 22nd season of "Summer Sounds on the Green" at the Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green, beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 7. The first concert will feature the classic rock of One Foot in the Groove.
Admission is free. Bring a blanket, lawn chair or picnic. Or Levy Restaurants will sell a variety of food, while the Hoffman Estates Beer Garden will be offering traditional German fare. Beer and wine will also be offered for sale.
The Village Green is at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway, across from the Sears Centre Arena.
The series continues on Thursdays at 7 p.m. through Aug. 2, except for July 5.
