National Doughnut Day is Friday, June 1. To celebrate, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is giving out one free doughnut from the entire menu (no purchase necessary) on Friday. Choose from a dozen or so varieties, including original glazed, chocolate iced with sprinkles, glazed raspberry filled, Nutter Butter Cookie Twist, Chips Ahoy!, Oreo Cookies and Kreme and more. It's burger time!

Rounding out National Burger Month in May, Houlihan's has added two specialty burgers to its menu. The Impossible Burger ($11.50) is a vegan-friendly burger made entirely from plants. It comes topped with cheddar, special sauce, lettuce and tomato on a toasted brioche bun. It's a permanent addition to the menu. If you want beef and lots of cheese, try the Melty Cheesy Cheeseburger ($11.75), which is available until late summer. The burger is finished tableside with Houlihan's five-cheese blend, melted on a sizzling raclette skillet. Morton's The Steakhouse is turning 40 this summer, so what better way to celebrate than with a special summer menu. Now through June 25, take advantage of the three courses for $49 menu. Choose one from each course: Starter: tomato and mozzarella salad, Morton's salad, Caesar salad or prosciutto-wrapped mozzarella; main: 6-ounce filet mignon, honey-balsamic glazed salmon, crispy chicken Bianco, shrimp scampi capellini or braised beef short rib; side: Lyonnaise potatoes, mashed potatoes, creamed spinach or steamed broccoli; and dessert: Key lime pie, chocolate mousse or mixed berries with whipped cream. Create-your-own lasagna

Olive Garden wants to give diners a little control with its new “create your own lasagna” special. Diners can stack the four-cheese lasagna with 24 different options, including sauces (meat, marinara, Alfredo and five-cheese marinara) and toppings such as garden veggies, cheese ravioli, mini meatballs, chicken Fritta, grilled chicken and sautéed shrimp. Beer Garden Brunch

It's brunch time! Starting Saturday, June 2, Rack House unveils chef Bryant Anderson's new Beer Garden Brunch in the 60-seat beer garden. Adventurous diners can start with the “BAM” Bloody Mary - a full liter of Rack House's Signature Bloody Mary with Two Brothers vodka, two side domestic beers, and garnished with skewers of spicy Nashville chicken tenders, mini doughnuts, andouille sausage, smoked dry rub wings, pulled pork slider, fried pickles, a Nutella brownie and more. The shareable drink costs $50. The Beer Garden Brunch menu includes breakfast waffle nachos ($12), the Hangover Sandwich ($12), chilaquiles ($12), maple sausage sandwich ($12) and more.
