The festival kicks off with a 5k Race to the Market, with Yoga for Runners taking place from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m., provided by Power Moves Yoga. From 9:15 to 10 a.m., Kim Coverly will present an all ages "Pound." Using lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, it transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out. Instead of listening to music, you become the music in this exhilarating full-body workout.

At 10 a.m., all are invited to "Taste of Tai Chi" with Herman Kussro of the Batavia Park District. Tai chi is "Meditation in Motion". Discover how the flowing and graceful movement of tai chi can reduce stress and anxiety, improve balance and body control, increase your feeling of peace and well-being, and promote health and healing.

Get jumping at 10:45 a.m. with a Mini-Trampoline class for all ages!

From 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., take a walk around the Festival and Farmers Market with the Batavia Park District's Kathy Freedlund and her Nordic Walking poles! This class is best for those 16 years and up. Come learn how to take make walking a total body work out!
