Nothing 'given' to Iran

I'm responding to previous letter writers who claimed U.S. tax dollars were "given" to Iran. It was never given to Iran. It was never our money to begin with. None of U.S. tax dollars went to Iran. It was their money and assets that were frozen until a multi-country denuclearization agreement was signed. I implore your editors to not publish letters with such inaccuracies. It only perpetuates misinformation and continues to create divisiveness.
