Lake Forest College student of Lake Villa wins award!
Zachary Weinstein, class of 2018, of Lake Villa was awarded the Grace Elizabeth Groner Foundation Community Service Award at Lake Forest College. Weinstein earned this award for his service at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science as a medical interpreter at the Inter-Professional Community Clinic. This biology major will continue his community service work as a Spanish medical interpreter for a year before applying to medical school. Lake Forest College is a national liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has more than 1,500 students representing 44 states and 72 countries.
