Lake Forest College student of Des Plaines wins award

Rosemary Thomas, class of 2018 of Des Plaines was awarded the Fredericka L. Stahl Memorial Award for excellence in science-Biology at Lake Forest College. A double major in biology and neuroscience, Thomas was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, earned distinction on her senior thesis, and made the Dean's List Three years in a row. She plans to go to medical school and continue her neuroscience studies. Lake Forest College is a national liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago.
