Component Products moves to Elmhurst

Component Products Inc. recently bought a 21,760-square-foot industrial building at 764 N. Oaklawn Ave. in Elmhurst.

Brown Commercial Group, based in Elk Grove Village, represented Component Products. The buyer is consolidating from two previous locations in Schaumburg.

Mike Antonelli, Brown Commercial Group vice president of sales, represented the buyer, a manufacturer of structures for lighting and traffic signals. Cushman & Wakefield's Mike Magliano represented the seller, GSI Partners LLC.

"In today's strong industrial market, many business owners are looking to purchase a building in order to gain long-term investment advantages," Antonelli said. "Component Products also will benefit from lower taxes in their relocation from Cook County to DuPage County."

The building features two interior docks, two drive-in doors, air conditioning, outdoor storage and ample car parking.
