Northwest Community opens clinic to serve Luther Village
Responding to a need to serve older adults in the community, Northwest Community Healthcare will open a Northwest Community Healthcare Medical Group Physician Office inside the Lutheran Home, 800 W. Oakton St.
The physician office will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to accept scheduled and walk-in appointments for residents of Luther Village and the Lutheran Home, as well as the surrounding community.
The office will be staffed by Primary Care Physician Dr. Michael E. Glickman, who serves as medical director; Gerontologist Dr. Jowella Pineda; and Nancy Kinyanjui, APN.
"Residents will have the convenience of having a clinic within their community while having the confidence that they will receive the comprehensive and quality care that Northwest Community Healthcare and the Northwest Community Healthcare Medical Group stand for," Dr. Glickman says.
Residents can get to the office from Luther Village by using a free shuttle service that runs hourly from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shuttle is equipped with a wheelchair lift. Free valet parking is available at the Olsen Center entrance.
