Duke Energy worker dies in accident in southern Indiana
NEW ALBANY, Ind. (AP) - Police in southern Indiana say a man has died in an apparent industrial accident at a Duke Energy power plant.
New Albany Police Chief Todd Bailey says 65-year-old Clarence Silviking Jr. was pronounced dead at a Louisville, Kentucky, hospital from injuries sustained in the accident Monday morning at Duke's Gallagher Station.
Bailey says in a news release the incident was "believed to be an accident."
Duke issued a statement confirming the death and saying it will conduct a "thorough investigation" into the incident.
