An Aurora man who was fired at with a paintball gun and retaliated by tracking down a car and shooting the driver was ordered held on $300,000 bail Sunday, authorities said.
Malcolm Wheeler, 25, of the 400 block of Belvidere Lane, was charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm stemming from the Wednesday shooting.
Aurora police said a person riding in a car fired a paintball at Wheeler as he was walking his dog about 1:30 p.m.
After taking a handgun out of his car, Wheeler found the vehicle on the 600 block of Conservatory Lane and fired a shot that grazed the 18-year-old driver's head, authorities said.

Wheeler was being held at the DuPage County jail. His next court date is June 4.
