Hoffman Estates police to host open house Saturday

The Hoffman Estates Police Department will host an open house from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 5, at its station at 411 W. Higgins Road.

The event provides an opportunity for the community to meet the department's officers, see the vehicles and equipment, tour the station and meet police dog Dozer.

Police dog demonstrations will be held at 10:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
