5 people displaced by Naperville fire

Three adults and two children were displaced by a townhouse fire Wednesday afternoon in Naperville.

The Naperville Fire Department was called to the 30W600 block of Fairway Drive at 3:36 p.m. Firefighters located the blaze in the second-floor bathroom of one of the units. According to the authorities, the fire was extinguished within 25 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

Due to smoke and fire damage, the unit was declared uninhabitable. According to the fire department, the other five units in the complex were determined to be safe.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
