Burger bonanza at Tokio Pub

May is National Burger Month, and Tokio Pub is honoring it with three new burgers. The Aloha Burger is a grilled salmon burger with teriyaki glaze, red chili mayo and pineapple jam. The Nacho Burger combines Angus beef, Asian barbecue pork, Chihuahua cheese, guacamole and fresno peppers on a brioche bun. Tent party

Draft Picks in Mount Prospect is turning 3. To celebrate, they're hosting a tent party Friday and Saturday, May 4-5. Food and drink specials and live music are the order of the day, with My Metal Heart playing from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and 7th Heaven playing from 9 to 11 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, Boneyard Band starts things off from 4 to 6 p.m., Petty Kings takes over from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Infinity closes out the night from 9 to 11 p.m. The cover is $10. Don't miss the party when Bigbys Pour House hosts the sixth annual Ballpark Brew Fest from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 5. At least 50 local and national breweries such as Church Street, Crystal Lake Brewing, Goose Island, Lucky Monk, Noon Whistle, Penrose, Pig Minds, Pollyanna, Scorched Earth, Two Brothers and more, will be pouring more than 100 craft beers. Yes, Morton's The Steakhouse's burger to celebrate National Burger Month will set you back $25. But wait until you hear more: The Snake River Farms wagyu burger is smothered in cambozola cheese and pickled shallots and topped with a fried egg on a brioche bun with bacon onion jam.
