Girls soccer: Burlington Central blanks Richmond-Burton

Burlington Central improved to 15-2 overall and 10-0 in the Kishwaukee River Conference with a 5-0 win over Richmond-Burton on Wednesday.

Erin Rafferty made 3 saves for the Rockets. Megan Majewski scored the first goal assisted by Zoey Kollhoff with 30:50 left in the first half. McKenzie Freeman (Isa Hartmann) and Jordan King (unassisted) also scored in the first half for a 3-0 halftime lead.

Maddie Menke (Reagan Oller) and King (unassisted) scored in the second half.
