Grains mostly higher and livestock mixed
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were mostly higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for May delivery rose 10.80 cents at $5.16 a bushel; May corn was up 2.20 cents at $3.9560 a bushel; May oats gained 11.40 cents at $2.3840 a bushel while May soybeans fell 7.80 cents at $10.4120 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
April live cattle fell 19.13 cents at $1.0582 a pound; April feeder cattle was off 1.95 cents at $1.3958 a pound; April lean hogs was up 1.20 cents at .6688 a pound.
