Officials: Woman crashes car into light pole in Des Plaines

A woman was pinned in her car after crashing into a light pole in Des Plaines, officials said.
The accident took place around 9:30 p.m. Friday.
According to Des Plaines firefighters, she was driving north on Elmhurst Road where it crosses Interstate 90.
It took 15 minutes to extricate the victim, who was taken to a hospital, firefighters said.
Her condition and identity have not been released.
Des Plaines police were unavailable for comment Friday night and the investigation is still pending.
