Dispose of household chemical waste

The first mobile household chemical waste collection event of the season is 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Round Lake Beach Metra station, 630 Hook Drive (west of Home Depot on Route 83).

Accepted items include aerosols, antifreeze, motor oil, fertilizer, herbicides, pesticides, household cleaners and oil-based paint and stain. Latex paint will not be accepted. The collection is for Illinois residents only.
