The Cubs' Kyle Hendricks (0-1) vs. Jon Gray (1-3) Friday at 7:40 p.m.; Yu Darvish (0-1) vs. Tyler Anderson (0-0) Saturday at 7:10 p.m.; Jose Quintana (1-1) vs. German Marquez (1-1) Sunday at 2:10 p.m.

The Rockies are 11-9, and they entered their off-day Thursday second in the NL West, 2½ games behind Arizona. Colorado is coming off a 5-2 road trip and, like the Cubs, they've played in some rough weather. Carlos Gonzalez has a strained hamstring, and he may be iffy to go against the Cubs. As a team, the Rockies entered Thursday leading the NL in homers (27). Their team ERA of 4.24 was third from the bottom. Former Cub DJ LeMahieu has a line of .308/.393/.577 with 5 homers. Charlie Blackmon is at .293/.379/.707 with 7 homers. Hendricks is 1-2 with a 4.04 ERA against the Rockies. The Cubs were 2-5 against the Rockies last year, 1-2 at Coors Field.
