Lake Zurich 8, Zion-Benton 0: Rachel Krueger had 5 goals, and the Bears did all of their scoring in the opening half of the North Suburban Conference contest.

Kristin Brousseau scored twice for the Lake Zurich (5-0-3, 2-0), and Maddy Piggott added a goal and 2 assists. Tess Vages and Samantha Hatman also assisted on a pair of goals each. Abby Willock and Abby DeGustino had assists as well. Claire Jones and Alaina Wol each had 1 save in net and shared the shutout.

Libertyville 9, Waukegan 0: Morgan Verbeten scored 4 goals for the Wildcats, and Alex Houser notched a pair for the Wildcats in North Suburban Conference action.

Verbeten has 10 goals on the season. Houser also had an assist.

Allison Tong, Elle Imm and Allyson Gifford also scored. Kendall Edwards and Abby Noonan each made 1 save in net and shared the shutout for Libertyville (6-1, 2-0).

"The surprise of the game was Alex Houser playing at left mid for the first time this season," Wildcats coach Shannon Etnyre said. "We had some injuries in our game against Warren, so we had to move a few players around. Alex had a solid game."

Warren 1, Lake Forest 1: Each team scored in the second half of the North Suburban Conference matc.

Warren's goal was scored by Elizabeth Weinberg and assisted by Cate Cullison. Goalkeeper Sarah Barbosa had 2 saves for the Blue Devils (4-6-1, 0-2-1).

Grayslake North, 8, North Chicago 0: Jordyn Gerdes and Lauren Hansen each had 2 goals for the Knights, who did all of their scoring in the first half of the Northern Lake County Conference match.

McKenna Brooks, freshman Ashley Hutson and freshman Gia Marrero also scored. Lauren Davis and Sarah Rauch each had 2 assists. Hansen, Grace Kendzior and Ari Gotshall also assisted on goals.

Emily Dunne notched the shutout in net.
