We must take back our country from the NRA
The students are right. Congress and Trump are controlled by the NRA. School guards and more mental testing are just "bones" that the NRA offers in appeasement. After all, any crazy criminal can buy any gun he wants at any gun show anytime and avoid any gun check at all. Think about that.
Our problem's bigger. Last year, not 17 students but 689 children were killed and another 493 found guns to take their own lives. Another 10,000 Americans died by guns, not including 20,000 suicides. It's disgraceful that gunshot deaths are 10 times more frequent here than the rate of any advanced nation.
Trump and our puppet Congress offer thoughts and prayers for the dead; just talk. Do you know that Congress actually prohibits studies that may be used to advocate gun control? NRA presses for silencers and unlimited gun magazine sizes. But the most outrageous act is their unrelenting support for the mass people killing AR15 rifle.
Americans are screaming to stop the carnage. but NRA is so certain that they own politicians like Rubio (and most of your elected representatives) that nothing is going to change. Are we crazy. or just lazy?
You must feel the national rage. The time is now. Let's help the students do what we haven't done. Conservative Justice Scalia said there are limitations that can be imposed on the Second Amendment. Make your irresponsible. scared politicians stop taking NRA money and dissociate themselves from that greedy organization - or give up their seats.
