Closure of Vail Avenue crossing starts Monday

Closure of the Vail Avenue railroad crossing in downtown Arlington Heights begins Monday morning, April 9, and is expected to last until Thursday, April 12, officials said.

The closure, anticipated from 9 a.m. Monday until 3 p.m. Thursday, is because of Union Pacific's scheduled maintenance work. Officials recommend using the Dunton Avenue crossing as an alternate.
