Antioch sweeps Rockford East: The visiting Sequoits got their first two wins of the season, winning 10-0 and 11-0 in a pair of five-inning games.

Sophomore Jerianne Bonaguidi pitched a complete-game 2-hitter in the opener, allowing 2 hits, striking out four and walking one. Kaylee Schreiner (RBI) and Katie Sorenson (3 RBI) each went 2-for-3 for Antioch. Sorenson and Deighton Butenschoen (3 RBI) both doubled.

The Sequoits' Game-2 win hiked their record to 2-4, as sophomore Mollie Wagner allowed 1 hit over 4 innings. The offense was led by Megan Lawrence (2-for-3), Abby Pyburn (2-for-2, triple, 2 RBI), Schreiner (double) and Wagner (3 RBI, single).
