WW South 5, Lake Park 4:

The Tigers (3-2, 1-0) scored the go-ahead run on Matt Brodhead's RBI double in the top of the 10th inning to win in the DuPage Valley Conference. Mike Romano was the winning pitcher with 3 scoreless innings of relief. Patrick McGarry, who drove in 2 runs, Matthew Scherrman and Kendall Simpson had 2 hits apiece. Rory Marino doubled home a run for Lake Park (3-2, 0-1).

Glenbard South 8, Walther Christian 7:

The Raiders (3-6-1, 1-0) scored 4 runs in the bottom of the first and fourth inning to hold off Walther Christian in the Metro Suburban Conference game. John McMahon, Nick Atkinson and Mike Paprota combined for 7 hits while winning pitcher Logan Barnick drove in 2 runs.

Montini 10, Northside Prep 0:

The Broncos (6-4) ended the game by scoring 4 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Seth Quick improved to 3-0 by striking out eight, walking none and scattering 4 hits. Michael Koszewski and Ben Steiner each homered and had 2 RBI. Nick Wind went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI.
