Right to self-defense

Re: Letter from Mr. Jerry Lang of South Barrington in March 27 edition of the Daily Herald.

Mr. Lang will not vote for anyone taking NRA money. The NRA protects your right to defend yourself. Are you against the right to defend yourself? When Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Pol Pot, Assad and Putin murdered scores of innocents, there was no NRA to protect the victims. Why not? When a mob attacks your family, a six-round magazine is ludicrous. Mr. Lang needs to reflect on the fate of the millions who were denied the right to defend themselves.
