Apply decency standards to all
In reading the Wednesday column by Cokie and Steve Roberts entitled "The impact of flunking the decency test," wherein they vilify President Trump, I came away wondering if the Clintons, Kennedys and a host of other leaders have been gone so long that their transgressions have been forgotten or if President Trump is simply judged by a different standard.
It is noteworthy, however, that the behaviors mentioned in almost all the cases are remarkably similar in substance as those attributed to our current president.
