Authorities find kayaker's body in Indiana river search
TAYLORSVILLE, Ind. (AP) - Authorities say they found the body of a south central Indiana man who disappeared while kayaking.
Indiana conservation officers say the body of 26-year-old Keygan Matlock was located Friday afternoon by search and rescue personnel. The body was about 100 yards from where his kayak was located hours earlier on the Driftwood River near Columbus.
Officials said Matlock of Taylorsville last had communication with friends and family Wednesday morning when he spoke of kayaking the Driftwood or Flatrock rivers. Both rivers are running high after recent heavy rains.
His family reported him missing Thursday.
