Bulls vs. Boston Celtics at TD Garden, 6:30 p.m. Friday

TV:

WGN

Radio:

WIND 560-AM

Outlook:

The Celtics got some bad news Thursday with PG Kyrie Irving declared out for the playoffs due to a knee injury. Irving hasn't played since Mar. 11 and Boston has gone 7-4 since then, but the Celtics (53-25) are probably ready to concede first place in the East to Toronto. Even without Irving, Gordon Hayward and Marcus Smart, Boston has some weapons. SG Jaylen Brown is the top healthy scorer at 14.1 ppg, followed by rookie SF Jayson Tatum with 13.9. PF Marcus Morris and C Greg Monroe have taken on greater roles in recent games. The Bulls are 1-2 against the Celtics this season and have played against Irving just once. The Bulls have dropped five straight at Boston during the regular season.
