Mick Foley to kick off taco-eating contest in Rosemont

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley will kick off a taco-eating contest to benefit charity Sunday in Rosemont.

Adobe Gila's Woof Down for Charity contest, scheduled for 2 p.m., will benefit Chicago Canine Rescue and Chicago Wolves Charities. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place in male and female categories.

ESPN Chicago radio host Carmen DeFalco will host the event, which is free to attend and $20 to participate in the contest. Other local celebrities such as Chicago Wolves players also will be in attendance.

Adobe Gila's is located at 5455 Park Place within Rosemont's Parkway Bank Park entertainment district.
