Mundelein 10, Zion-Benton 8: Mundelein got its first North Suburban Conference win of the season.

Molly Podraza had a home run and a double. Pitcher Bre Adams finished with 6 strikeouts.

Grant 15, Johnsburg 2: Erin Bengston was 4-for-4 with 3 doubles and a home run, as the Bulldogs won the nonconference game.

Liz Schram also homered for Grant (4-3) and finished 3-for-3.

Lake Zurich 14, Waukegan 2: A 10-run fourth inning fueled Lake Zurich's North Suburban Conference win.

The Bears pounded out a total of 17 hits.

Olivia Collins went 3-for-3 while Julia Zaucha and Stephanie Keefe each went 3-for-4.

Keefe was the winning pitcher with 6 strikeouts over five innings.
