Pakistan Day Annual Children Competition becomes most Popular Children Competition in Chicagoland

More than four dozen children of all the ages participated Annual Children Competition and attended by a large crowd of Community members gathered on Sunday, March 23, 2018, to take part in the Qirat (Quran Recitation), Nasheed, Quiz and Speech competitions among the Pakistani American Children from Chicago area and its suburbs to Celebrate Pakistan Day Youm e Pakistan in Chicago.

The program was held in Chicago at The Badri Devon Banquet Hall. The event was arranged by the Coalition of Pakistani Organization. This organization is totally nonpolitical and nonprofit. The Coalition of Pakistani Organization successfully conducting this event since last 18 years in Chicago. This Competition turns into one of the most Popular Competitions in Chicago.

During an interview with Mohammad Yaseen Chohan, he said, "Our Organization provided an opportunity for the talented Pakistan American Children who born and raised in the USA to focus on Pakistan Day to commemorate the adoption of the Pakistan Resolution."

Program concludes in several sections. Huma Ahmed, Ibrahim Khan and Araj Haider Rizvi was the emcees of the Program. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Qur'an by Ibrahim Khan and follow by Nasheed by Humayuan Khan. Pakistan and American national anthem sung at the event.

First session of the program was for children's Quran Recitation. The children those participated that section were Syed Hassan Ali, Sara Sayeed, Syed Muzammil Shah, Munhib Siddiqui, Nehal Khan, Walia Khan, Sabeel Khokkar, Sami Khokkar, Wafa Shah, Laiba Ghaniwala, Mustafa Ghaniwala, Ali Ghaniwala, Yasir Maqsood and Hassan Maqsood.

Second session of the program was Nasheed Recitation. The children those participated that section were Marwa Zahid, Aon Mohammad, Jan Mohammad, Yasir Maqsood, Hassan Maqsood and Syed Abdan Ullah.

Third session of the program was speech competition. The children those participated that section were Syed Abdan Ullah, Aqsa Ahmed, Mujtaba Shah, Muhammad Shah rose, Mustafa Ghaniwala, Ali Ghaniwala and Izzat Shah.

Quiz sessions among all the children conduct by Syed Deedar Ali Shah More than 30 Children won Prizes.

Ali Bakhtiari was a keynote speaker of the event he highlighted the purpose of the day. He said that the objective of celebrating Pakistan Day is to make the new generation aware of Pakistan History the other speakers of the event were Mian Saqlain and Raja Muhammad Yaqoob. Speakers highlighted the purpose day is celebrated in the memory to commemorate the event when the Muslim League adopted the Pakistan resolution at the Minar-e-Pakistan that called for establishing an independent federation comprising provinces with Muslim majority located in north-western and north-eastern region of British controlled territories in India on 23 March 1940.

Few Informative Video Clips was Shown to Audience by Ali Bakhtiari. National songs were conducted well known singer Birjees Tahmoori.

The Children who won the competition of Qirat, Yasir Maqsood came first, Munhib Siddiqui came second and Walia Khan was third. The winners of the Naat (Nasheed) Competition were Yasir Maqsood who was first in position, Syed Abdan Ullah came second Aon Mohammad and Jan Mohammad came was third. The winners of the Speech competitions were Syed Abdan Ullah first in position and Izzat Shah came second Mujtaba Shah got third place.
