Moylan hosting property tax appeal seminar in Elk Grove Township

State Rep. Marty Moylan is inviting homeowners in Elk Grove Township to attend a tax appeal seminar taking place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 16, at Elk Grove Township headquarters, 2400 S. Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.

At the meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to talk with representatives of the Elk Grove Township assessor's office to walk through how to file a property tax appeal through their office.

Residents should bring their property tax bill, paperwork from any appraisal performed in the past 18 months and a closing statement if the house was purchased within the last year.
