Welcome leaders with common sense

As I listen to J.B. Pritzker and Fritz Kaegi speak about needed change in Illinois, I am reminded of the words of Winston Churchill toward the end of World War II, "Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning."

Out with all the politicians who enhance their own lives at the expense of the middle class and welcome the new ones who will rule with common sense, no military weapons of any kind in Illinois other than for the military and clear up the war zone in Chicago.

I hope to live to see the national election echo these same words to Washington. The students shall lead when they say, "I don't want to attend school and face death."
