Marches were just expressions of hate
The Student March across America was disingenuous and hypocritical. Consider:
Murders committed by the abortion provider Planned Parenthood - 900/day or 328,500 per year; Deaths by automobile/alcohol related incidents - 30/day or 10,950 per year; Murders by weapon types in 2016 - knives, other cutting instruments, 1604; blunt objects, rolling pins, clubs, hammers, etc., 472; rifles of all types, of which only a fraction were the so-called "assault weapons", 374.
Who is expressing concern for the loss of lives by Planned Parenthood and drunken drivers?
The loss of even one student life is tragic. But, the nationwide marches earlier this month were not in protest against gun violence and loss of life. The protests of March 24 were a continuing expression of hate of and disdain for Donald Trump and the refusal to accept him as our president.
Further, a main stated purpose of the march was to draw in additional students into the radical group, "Women's March. Youth Empowerment." It is disingenuous, hypocritical and shameful to look at it any other way.
To grasp the seriousness of current events, compare them with the Nazi Youth Movements of the early 1930s.
