Palatine library offering fine amnesty in April

Palatine Public Library District will offer fine amnesty Wednesday, April 11, and Thursday, April 12. Any library materials that are overdue by days or years may be brought in. Those doing so must talk to employees about their fines and help will be provided to clear up the account. Fine amnesty is intended to help patrons return to the Palatine library to enjoy and rediscover all the offerings available. Fines will be waived up to $50 per account, and amnesty does not include charges for collection agencies or replacement of materials. For more information, call (847) 358-5881, x100.
