Downtown Batavia Egg Hop returns March 31

Grab your Easter basket and hop on down for the fifth annual Downtown Batavia Egg Hop brought to you by Batavia MainStreet and River City Church. Starting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, hop around downtown businesses to find eggs filled with goodies and possibly a chance to win raffle prizes and gift certificates donated by Downtown Batavia businesses.

This free community event is made possible thanks to the generous Presenting Sponsors Boyce Body Werks and Montessori Academy.

At 9:45 a.m., the first 500 children will receive goody bags filled with treats from the sponsors including River City Church, Batavia Animal Clinic, Wazio Orthodontics, Advanced Disposal, Kane County Chronicle, Elliff Dental, Miscella Real Estate, Denny's Batavia, Power Moves Yoga, Learning Experience, and Hanson Family Chiropractic.

They do recommend that you BYOB (bring your own basket) to collect eggs around town.

Bring your kiddos and their eggs back to the Peg Bond Center, 151 N. Island Ave., for a chance to win raffle prizes, enjoy face painting, games, and activities.
