Greenbrook Elementary hosts annual fundraiser at McDonald's

On Tuesday, March 20, the McDonald's restaurant was taken over by 28 Greenbrook Elementary School teachers and administrative staff excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers also handed out orders, cleaned tables, served drinks and even dressed up in a pie costume. Teachers Ron Loda, Kim Orellana and Brian Vernett dressed in the pie outfit throughout the night and what a blast they had mingling with all the families and taking pictures.

The teachers worked hard selling delicious apple pies all night and sold 240 pies during their event! The funds earned from the evening will go toward special events for the students.

A special thank you goes to Michaele Post, who organized the event as well as everyone who worked and attended.
