Wauconda 6, McHenry 0: Kayla Wisniewski scored 4 goals for the host Bulldogs, who improved to 5-0 with the nonconference win.
Savannah Johnson and Megan Sinnott also scored. Sinnott added a pair of assists. Morgan Lung also assisted on a pair of goals, and Rachel DeNovo and Rosalie Wisniewski had assists as well.
Wauconda keeper Jill Rejczyk (1 save) earned the clean sheet.
Kayla Wisniewski, who missed the Bulldogs' first three games with a shin injury, has 6 goals in two games.
Francis Howell North 2, Warren 0: In St. Louis, as part of the Parkway College Showcase, the Blue Devils allowed a goal in each half.
Warren goalkeeper Sarah Barbosa had 8 saves. The Blue Devils (2-1) will play Cor Jesu Academy at 11 a.m. Saturday when the tournament resumes.
"This showcase is a great opportunity to test our players individually and as a team early on in the season," Warren coach Ryan McCabe said. "With so many players new to the varsity level, it is trial by fire. The girls responded really well and we had some great learning experiences in the context of the game."
