Crystal Lake South 7, Grayslake North 6: Grayslake North scored 5 runs in the seventh inning but fell shorts in a strong attempt at a comeback win.
The Knights didn't record their first hit until the fifth inning and were down 7-1.
They went on to send 9 hitters to the plate in the top of the seventh, scoring 5 runs after there were 2 outs, before ending the game with the tying run on second base. Caitlin Barenbaum led the way for the Knights going 2-3 (double, 2 RBI). Faith Standerski (2 RBI) added a double while Scout Kram and Maddy Wais had singles.
