Pizza throwdown benefits students

The second annual Mundelein Pizza Throwdown, a fundraiser for the Mundelein District 75 STEAM Foundation, will be 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Carl Sandburg Middle School, 855 W. Hawley St. More than 300 residents are expected to vote for the best pizza, crust and sauce among eight participants.
